Delicious Baked Parmesan Tilapia

- Ingredients
- 1 serving of cooking spray
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup prepared ranch dressing
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon of seasoned salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon celery salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon ground paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- ¼ teaspoon dried basil
- Cooking spray 4 servings
- 8 tilapia fillets (6 ounces)
Step-by-step preparation of Delicious Baked Parmesan Tilapia
- Step 1 Preheat an oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Step 2 Cover an 11-17-inch baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Step 3 Mix milk and ranch dressing in shallow bowl. Place the flour in a separate deep bowl; set aside.
- Step 4 Whisk together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, seasoned salt, black pepper, celery salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, parsley, and basil in a bowl.
- Step 5 Spray the breadcrumb mixture with cooking spray until moist, then beat the breadcrumbs. Repeat spraying and beat 3 more times to lightly moisten the crumb mixture with cooking spray.
- Step 6 Transfer the crumb mixture to a large zip-top plastic bag.
- Step 7 Gently press the tilapia fillets into the flour to cover them and shake off the excess flour.
- Step 8 Dip the fillets in the ranch dressing mixture.
- Step 9 Place all the fillets in the zippered plastic bag; Seal the bag and shake to coat the fish with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Step 10 Arrange the tilapia on a prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the breaded fish with cooking spray.
- Step 11 Bake in the preheated oven until fish flakes easily with a fork, 20 to 25 minutes.
